As of Monday, September 7, 2020 in the morning the list of counties potentially included in the PSPS event were: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Humboldt, Kern, Lake, Mariposa, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sonoma, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne, Yuba. Affecting a total of about 158,000 customers.
