While we are not accepting funds during the pause, subscription and donation pledges help us understand prospective revenue as we plan. We will follow up on pledges towards the end of the operational pause.

California’s risk environment is growing more complex—shaped by fast-evolving threats, competing signals, fragmented information flows, and increasingly interconnected systems. Across every sector, decision-makers and planners are being asked to navigate uncertainty and unprecedented challenges, from climate shocks and cascading hazards to cybersecurity threats and supply chain disruptions.

The California Resiliency Alliance (CRA) helps cut through the noise. Since 2009, CRA has been an active presence in California’s resilience landscape—growing and evolving to meet the needs of an increasingly complex risk environment. As a trusted, neutral partner, our mission is to equip professionals with actionable knowledge, close cross-sector gaps, and foster collaboration that strengthens resilience statewide.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the CRA relies on contributions of individuals, organizations, and philanthropic partners to support its work. With increased philanthropic support, the CRA can expand its reach, deepen its impact, and continue building the connections and foresight California needs.

Whether you’re in the public sector, private industry, or a resilience-focused consultant, there’s a tier designed to fit your needs. Upgrading your subscription doesn’t just benefit you—it sustains CRA’s mission to keep our basic tier free and ensure vital resilience information remains accessible to all.

Donations

Your tax-deductible contribution directly supports CRA’s work curating trusted information, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and strengthening resilience across California. Many employers will match your donation or subscription—doubling your impact at no additional cost. Check with your HR team or workplace giving platforms like Benevity or YourCause to see if your organization participates. Every gift, no matter the size, amplifies our reach and helps us close gaps in planning and preparedness.

Funding Pledge
Philanthropic Partnerships

Larger contributions from philanthropic foundations are essential to CRA’s long-term impact. Foundation support enables us to expand research, deepen cross-sector initiatives, and develop forward-looking tools that serve the whole resilience community. One of the most valuable ways you can help is by introducing CRA to foundation contacts within your network. These introductions open the door to transformational partnerships that strengthen California’s resilience at scale.

In addition to its no-cost Basic Subscriber tier, the California Resiliency Alliance (CRA) offers one individual paid tier and four organizational-level tiers designed to provide enhanced access, added benefits, and expanded engagement opportunities.

Paid subscriptions not only provide additional resources and perks for subscribers but also directly support CRA’s ongoing work to bridge silos, share trusted information, and keep the Basic Subscriber tier freely available to the broader resilience community.

For organizational-level tiers, an “employee” is defined as a subscriber who has and uses a company or organization email address. Contractors assigned an official company or organization email address may also be counted as employees. There is no limit to the number of employees who may subscribe under the Basic tier.
