Local Air Districts
California has 35 local Air Districts that are responsible for regional air quality planning, monitoring, and stationary source and facility permitting. Below are all 35 local air districts and the regions they cover. The main link goes the the districts main website.
Amador County Air Pollution Control District: covers all of Amador County. Direct link to their Current Wildfire Smoke Information page.
Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District: covers northeast portion of Los Angeles County.
Bay Area Air Quality Management District: covers Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties, and the western portion of Solano and southern portion of Sonoma counties. Direct link to Current Air Quality page.
Butte County Air Quality Management District: covers all of Butte County.
