CRA Welcomes Five New Board Members

California Resiliency Alliance Welcomes Five New Board Members

The California Resiliency Alliance (CRA) is excited to announce the addition of five new members to its Board of Directors. Their collective expertise strengthens the organization’s leadership at a time when California’s risk environment is becoming increasingly complex and interconnected.

The new board members are:

Ed Westfall, Director of Business Development and Customer Success, Sikich

Lynn von Koch-Liebert, Head of Climate, Energy and Infrastructure, Lendistry

Marianna Thomas, Mass Care Chief, American Red Cross

Michael McCormick, President, Farallon Strategies

Richard Scott Mitchem, Supervisory Protective Security Advisor, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (retired)

As the CRA continues to grow, we intentionally sought to expand Board capacity in three key areas: philanthropy and fundraising, outreach and communications, and strategic thinking with a futures orientation. While each of these new board members brings a distinct background and skill set, together they span the full range of experience we were seeking.

Their combined perspectives will strengthen the CRA’s ability to broaden its reach, deepen partnerships, and anticipate emerging risks and opportunities in California’s evolving resilience landscape.

Biographies for all of the CRA’s board members are available on Our Leadership Team webpage.

The CRA is grateful for the leadership, insight, and commitment these new board members bring and looks forward to working together to strengthen resilience across California.
