Upgrade your subscription. Sustain the mission.

CRA’s core subscriber tier is free — and we intend to keep it that way. Paid subscription tiers provide enhanced access and resources while directly sustaining our ability to serve California’s full resilience community.

Important Notice

The California Resiliency Alliance is on a planned three-month operational pause effective March 21, 2026 to conduct a strategic review and strengthen the organization’s long-term sustainability. You can read more about the pause and what it means on our full update and FAQs pages.

While we are not doing any paid tier upgrades during the pause, complete a funding pledge to let us know you want to upgrade one we resume operations. It helps us understand prospective revenue as we plan. We will follow up towards the end of the operational pause.

All tiers include CRA’s full suite of situation briefs, information briefs, resource collection briefs, and mini exercise scenarios. Paid tiers add enhanced access and organizational benefits that amplify your investment in resilience planning.

Common Questions

We believe that professionals responsible for planning and organizational resilience should have access to trusted, cross-sector information regardless of their organization’s budget. Paid tiers and philanthropic support make that possible.

Yes. Paid subscription amounts above the fair market value of benefits received are tax-deductible. CRA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID: 27-0771338) and will provide additional documentation upon request.

Many organizations cover professional development and association memberships. Organizational subscriptions are particularly well suited to this. Many employers also offer charitable matching programs — check with your HR team or platforms like Benevity or YourCause.

Eligibility is determined by the email address associated with each CRA profile. Individuals using an official organization-issued email domain are considered employees for the purposes of this tier. Contractors may also be included if they have been assigned an official organization email address.

Exclusive Domestic & International Content: These paid subscriber-only briefs highlight U.S. and international resilience developments (plans, reports, assessments, etc) discovered during CRA research — resources too useful to ignore, even if they fall outside our core scope.

Foresight Musings: Gain access to forward-looking prompts designed to challenge assumptions and explore emerging risks. These concise “foresight musings” are ideal for sparking planning discussions, highlighting possible blindspots, or informing your next exercise.

CRA Reference Library: Unlock access to a robust, curated library of thousands of resilience resources—including plans, exercises, hazard assessments, and after-action reports from California, across the U.S., and internationally—designed to save time and support deeper, more informed planning.
