Important Notice

The California Resiliency Alliance is on a planned three-month operational pause effective March 21, 2026 to conduct a strategic review and strengthen the organization’s long-term sustainability. You can read more about the pause and what it means on our full update and FAQs pages.

While we are not accepting funds during the pause, subscription and donation pledges help us understand prospective revenue as we plan. We will follow up on pledges towards the end of the operational pause.

Help us keep the connective tissue of California’s resilience ecosystem strong.

California’s risk environment is growing more complex — and the professionals navigating it need a trusted, neutral source that works across sectoral boundaries. The CRA has filled that role since 2009. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on philanthropic support to keep doing it.

With increased philanthropic support, the CRA can expand its reach, deepen its impact, and continue building the connections and foresight California needs.

Let's Talk
Foundation support enables CRA to expand its reach, deepen cross-sector initiatives, and develop forward-looking tools that serve the full breadth of California’s resilience community.
Make an Introduction

Foundation support enables us to expand research, deepen cross-sector initiatives, and develop forward-looking tools that serve the whole resilience community. One of the most valuable ways you can help is by introducing CRA to foundation contacts within your network. These introductions open the door to transformational partnerships that strengthen California’s resilience at scale.

Donations

Every contribution — of any size — helps sustain a trusted, neutral resource that California’s resilience ecosystem genuinely needs. Your support funds the curation, analysis, and relationship-building that turns complex, fragmented information into something professionals can actually use.

Many employers match charitable contributions, which can double your impact at no additional cost. Check with your HR team or through workplace giving platforms such as Benevity or YourCause to see if your organization participates.

Contributions to the California Resiliency Alliance are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Philanthropic partnerships

Foundation support enables CRA to expand its reach, deepen cross-sector initiatives, and develop the forward-looking tools and resources that serve the full breadth of California’s resilience community. If you represent a foundation with an interest in emergency preparedness, cross-sector collaboration, or public safety — or if you have relationships with foundations that might — we would welcome the conversation.

One of the most valuable things a supporter can do is make an introduction. You don’t need to be in a position to give to make a meaningful difference.

The CRA exists to be the connective tissue between sectors, hazards, and disciplines that others address in isolation. That work requires sustained support. We are grateful to every individual, organization, and foundation that makes it possible.
