Emergency Fuel – Planning for Preparedness

On November 14, 2018, WaterISAC and the National Association of Water Companies will cohost an “Emergency Fuel – Planning for Preparedness” webinar.
This webinar is open to all interested parties – membership not required.
The webinar will describe how utilities can develop plans to have adequate fuel supplies after disaster strikes.
- Jim Wollbrinck, manager of security and business resiliency at San Jose Water, will discuss the steps necessary for a utility to develop an emergency fuel supply plan.
- Dr. Justin Cochran, nuclear policy advisor and emergency coordinator at the California Energy Commission, will address the role of emergency management agencies in preparing for and responding to emergency fuel needs.
- Ryan Hanretty, executive director of the California Fuels and Convenience Alliance, will describe the logistics required to deliver fuel during an incident.
